14A. Stress

Wow Finals are approaching really fast, it is very true what people say that college semesters go by very quickly because in the next two weeks finals will be here.  

It sort of feels early to start thinking about finals because back in high school our finals would be in June not in December but I know its something that I will adjust to. But for the next weeks I know that I will experience some serious stress with cramming in all the last minute assignments and make up some things to pass the class, but I know that if I go in with a great mind set and a positive attitude I know that I will be ok. 

For this week we only had two days of classes because of Thanksgiving, and for me I took this time to think and reflect on myself and give myself some "me time". Reason why I did  that is because I want to be less stress and to be calm but that’s just hope because I know in reality I'm going to be very stress. 

So that is the reason that this week im having some "me time" because it is important that people take time for themselves because without I feel that you will lose yourself in the madness. So these are the reasons why I take me time and trying to be less stress with everything before the madness and craziness starts. 

But overall the only thing that I trying to do is to keep my calm on everything especially on my family because I don't want them to be stress because I'm stressing over things that are completely out f their element. 

13B. Final project

Creativity is one of the most important aspect of this video project. Even though everybody has some creativity in them I feel that I lack that because I usually go with the simple things that gets things done. So for this part on the video I will kind of be lacking in, but I feel that if I put in  lot more effect into my project I know that there will be some creativity in my project.  See the Idea that I was thinking about was making a skit for my topic which is how to deal with stress. Reason why I thought about making a skit is because its creativity and it shows what the problem is and how they deal it with it and what the outcome looks like. So since part of the guidelines in the project is to be creativity and what not creativity about creating a skit about my topic. I feel that by me creating a skit it does express creativity in my video.  

the plot of my skit is a young student being over whelm with all the course work they had due in the following week and then a friend of the student passes by them and the they have a conservation and in that conversation that friends gives the student some advice about how they can deal with stress and how they can handle it. I feel by that it does express creativity. I also was thinking about putting some background music to make the scene more dramatic and more intense and that can be creative. hopefully this project I can be able to express some creativity on this video.  

13V. Purpose

well when I googled the word Purpose the def they gave me was the reason why something is done or used, the aim or intention of something, the feeling of being determined to do or achieve something, the aim or goal of a person : what a person is trying to do, become, etc. which is highly important in college today

13.I

for this weeks involvement I attend a meeting I set up with the math tutor and lets say its was a great experience. Reason why it was great was because they were so very patient with me and was able to fully explain some of the mistakes I was doing and how I should approach theses questions in the future. I felt that they were more understandable than my professor is and that shows a lot to me because Im paying for a class that a professor doesn't fully explain the material being presented to the class, I do recommend students to pay a visit to the math center located in the basement of Englment.  

13A. final project

For this WEEK'S Blogs A post our professor is asking her students what college level thinking are we putting in to our final draft of our video projects. 

My video topic for my final video is How to Deal With Stress? Even though it’s a good topic to talk about because there is a lot to talk about especially with finals coming up and how mostly all freshman's had difficulty registering for class for next semester. Bu the question that I have running through my mind is how can I make this into a college level thinking.  

So the ideas that I have came up with were making a skit to show how students  are facing adversity in there studies and how they can overcome the struggle and succeeding into their course work.  

The other idea that I had was setting up an interview with the counseling services and how they see students coming in for a meeting so they can talk about how stress they are feeling about life and they studies, and ask the counselor for a typical response(s) they might tell that student.  

With these ideas that I have came up with my thing is how can I might this into college level thinking because our professor doesn't want us to interview students because she feels that its too basic and now really a college level thinking. What she wants from us is us thinking critical and having different aspects to the problem or question. 

But somehow I know that I can make whatever idea I use into college level thinking because I am determine to pass the course and get a good grade on the assignment and to prove that I am capable of doing this project unlike my last project for our midterm video projects    

12I. Classes

For the week of November11 and November15 involvement I was able to register for class for next semester. I was really glad that I was able to register early so I could pick out the classes that I wanted and the right time I wanted also. The courses that I will be taking next semester are  

• ENG 112 
• MAT 107 
• Spanish 100 
• Biology 100 
• Social Work 200 

I feel that next semester I would feel more free due to the fact that I was able to pick my classes. I do look forward to next semester also fir a new beginning

It is about creating something new by crossing boundaries, and thinking across them. It is related to an interdiscipline or an interdisciplinary field, which is an organizational unit that crosses traditional boundaries between academic disciplines or schools of thought, as new needs and professions have emerged
